Cameraseat technolgy

perfectvenue works in product development for broadcasting since 2001.

By the in 2001 developed camera seat system ORBITER it was for the first time possible to supply an integrated solution which is at the same time mobile and compact not requiring compromises concerning stability of shots.

Since December 2001 this worldwide patented system prevails in the broadcasting industry. All major competitions in soccer access this system.

Wether at the FIFA world cups since 2006, or the UEFA EURO since 2004, the UEFA Championsleague since 2004, the German soccer Bundesliga since 2006, as well as all other European major competitions in soccer – everywhere is staken multiple advantage of this system on every matchday.

In the demanding application in outside broadcasting it proves a lasting solution at all leaders in the outside broadcasting branch.

Beginning at the first prototype up tot he initial serial model oft he first and most sold System, the ORBITER 500 superflat there are meanwhile seven systems deliverable, which are individually taylormade to different requirements.

Another deduction of the ORBITER system is the track dolly VOYAGER 500 superflat, speciallised for the application at soccer – an extremely low travelling camera seat.

cable drums

In cooperation with German service provider TVN from Hannover for a top range HD OB-van in 2005 perfectvenue developed a flexible and taylormade system of cable drums, which allows

to supply measure made cable drums just as large as needed to make better use of rare space on the truck.

During the development of this system it was taken in account, that fragile fibre optis and connectors need better and smoother handling, to better store and protect fibre cables and their connectors.

Also effort and comfort during operation were a major issue for these high end cable drums – each drum has its own crank which can not be lost, there is an optional electric adjustable drive as well as

a smoothly adjustable brake which avoids an additional person to brake the drum when unspooling.

wireless video

Since 2006 perfectvenue develops the application of wireless vodeo for parachuting an delivers a comprehensive service including hardware and operation of high end COFDM video and audio links in SD and HDTV.

By means of this advanced technolgy video and audio is being transmitted from helicopters, aircrafts, vehicles and other moving objects such as i.e. steadycams.

 

 
 
 

magnetic levitation

Another project is the application of magnetic levitation for TV production. With a partner and expert in maglev technology it is planned to create a new application until 2011.

It is projected to design a magnetic track system which travells as fast as racing cars on the finish line of race tracks providing spectacular shots.

Furthermore there shall be a miniaturised maglev track variation for competitions such as ski jumping and athletics following the athlet’s action closely at high speeds, steadily.

 

     
 

air cushion systems

air cushion systems is a since decades established and proved industrial application and will be applied for camera handling solutions. By means of air cushion it is possible to design dollies travelling contact-free, therefore

providing steady and smooth shots without relying on wheels. This technology allows to move extreme loads smoothly and efficiently.
