The
Orbiter 500 ultraflat was designed for very critical camera positions
such as the centre pitch camera at soccer. Between the coaches and
close to the fourth referee space is limited and views have to be
unrestricted. This is accomplished by the Orbiter 500 ultraflat, the
camera seat with the lowest shot worldwide. This permits to place it
almost everywhere without interferring with anybody working close to
it. During the FIFA soccer world cup 2006 in Germany it was applied by
HBS exclusively at all centre pitch positions in every stadium during
all matches.
At soccer matches it can
be used at all camera positions close to the pitch. At tennis
broadcasts it comes in handy if positioned close to the net and at
athletics it is often used at the end of jump discipline areas. The
Orbiter provides a range of more than 360° for the operator in an
extremely low sitting working position and it allows trouble-free
movement due to its central cable feeding. The Orbiter allows
independent movement of camera and seat. Horizontal pan and movement of
the seat are not linked but on the same axis.
Steady pictures are achieved by the Orbiter‘s new and patented design.
Contrary to other low shooters the seat is not directly connected to
the camera column. This means no shock motions are transmitted from the
operator to the camera.
Take advantage of the comfortable and softrunning Orbiter to create
excellent and dynamic pictures without interferring with the views of
spectators, referees and coaches.
Working ergonomically allows maintaining and improving the quality of
your pictures, as concentration does not weaken.
